This was a pleasant stay and the staff were very helpful in all respects.
1. The location is ok for car people but is not so handy for travellers like myself who have come by plane or train and not hired a car. Hence it is either a taxi (expensive) or a 30min tram+bus journey from the centre of Montpellier; I think this should be made clear in the advertisements. 2. I happened to hit the period when the restaurant was not operating fully (August holiday), consequently there was a very limited (too limited) choice of meals. 3. The air conditioning (if installed) was not operating in my room!

The good side of the hotel is that you can pick up your keys in automatic machine in front of the entrance and that there are no problems in finding a car park.
The hotel is situated in the outskirts of Montpellier with no places of interest in walking distance. The rooms are very small and so are the bathrooms. The window can only be opened completely or closed which means that if you have a room at the ground floor you have to keep the window closed all night for fear of theft. In my opinion this hotel is too expensive for the very basic quality it offers.

Having an en suite and a lovely clean bed.
We accidentally left our key in the room when the door slammed behind us so we went down to reception to get another key. We were given one and used that to go back in the room. We went out for a short time and upon our return, the key did. It work in the door. Since we had taken three rooms, we tried to use the phone in another room but all the phones were disconnected. There was no help button at reception, only a phone no to contact but we could not phone because the phones did not work. We knocked on the office door, we tried everything and could not get help and were locked out of our room at 11:00 pm. We are traveling round the country and do not have a mobile phone so we walked to a restaurant which was closed but the staff helped us and we phoned the night attendant at the hotel who eventually opened our room door. We were very stressed from this situation as we thought we were going to be locked out all night. What if we had a baby in the room? The potential risk to this situation is unthinkable and there was no apology from the staff. The hotel otherwise was good but why we're the phones disconnected? Guests do not need the phones during the day- they can go to reception if they have a problem - they need the phones at night as a point of contact in the w ent of a emergency. We spoke with other guests and not one of them carry a mobile phone for country to country. This was a very, very stressful experience for us and all because we were given a key which worked for it seems only long enough to gain entry to the room and was switched off thereafter. What would happen in the event of a fire? Guests have no way of contacting emergency services.

There is a large casino super market just down the road. The room I stayed in was. Dry clean, and although small, rather cosy.
The hotel is very far out of town and the staff were not the most friendly.
